Audio Player: An end-to-end mobile app audio feature

O'Reilly Media, Inc. is a SaaS learning company that offers books, courses, and audiobooks through its online platform. To better support users who prefer audio learning, especially on the go, I worked with the mobile app team to design the audiobook experience with a mobile-first approach.

The result: A 150% increase of audiobook consumption on the platform and doubled the app usage on iOS and Android devices within the first two quarters post shipping. It continues to serve users well with minimal post-launch revisions.

Directory: A core feature to keep senior citizens active and social

Grouper (formerly Element3 Health) is a mission-driven Series A startup working to reduce social isolation among seniors by connecting members with local clubs and group activities. As the company transitioned through a rebrand and a new platform build, I led the design of its core feature - the Member Directory - which helped users discover, join, and manage social groups that kept them active and engaged.

The result: Membership grew 1,233% in 7 months through the Optum partnership. Directory drove retention, generated sales leads, and fueled additional plan sales. It also drove the creation of a Design System. I partnered with Engineering to initiate the system which improved handoff documentation and accelerated the feature.

Designing a User-Centered Web Experience for the Spa Girl Tri

The Spa Girl Tri is a boutique women’s-only triathlon series blending fitness, friendship, and resort luxury. While its events consistently sold out, the digital experience didn’t reflect the same clarity or confidence athletes felt on race day. To fix that, I redesigned the website from the ground up using research, usability testing, and the Design Thinking framework.

The result: The new site streamlined registration, simplified pre-race preparation, and strengthened trust between organizers and athletes. It also introduced scalable templates for future event pages, saving time for organizers and maintaining brand consistency across all eight annual races.
